Concept

“I Choose You, Kid!” is an education-simulation app through the lens of Chinese parenthood,  eugenics, patriarchy and credentialism. The players get points by parenting and educating the kids, eventually guiding them to win the battle with other parents.


The main targeting group of this app will be parents, and they will go on a journey of parenting offsprings to live up the expectation of modern society, which ultimately interpret real-world problems in gamification.

Narrative and Mockup

This is a simple mockup of the app, which also added with narration from mom’s perspective. The story of this video is - one day XiaoMing’s mom figure out her son cheated on her of his exam score, and the scandal accidentally exposed on mom’s social media, to cover this, XiaoMing’s mom has to find a way to rebuild her social credit.....
